To the best of my knowledge PHP does not come standard with Os X. However an installer for the latest version of PHP which is designed for the Apache server in Os X is available from Marc Liyanage’s web site http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/. Download the most appropriate package for your needs and follow the installation instructions on Marc’s site. Marc has made everything very simple.
