A short time ago we felt an earth tremor shake the house (I’ve just had the bloody thing re-stumped – I thought). Twenty minutes of frantic Googleing and we had the answer a quake measured at magnitude 4.6 occurred north of Korumburra (aprox 92km away) was reported by Geoscience Australia. A short time after this all the local news sites were carrying the story and every web site in Australia with anything to do with quakes slowed to a snails pace. No reports so far of casualties or property damage. OK … drought, bush fires, quakes … what’s next?!
