Golden Gate Bridge
Big day…
- Took the 38 and 28 buses Up Geary and then Park Presidio Blvd to the Golden Gate Bridge (http://goldengatebridge.org/). Walked across the bridge and took a slew of photos.
- Took the 28 bus down Park Presidio Blvd to Golden Gate park and walked round Stow Lake and the Japanese Tea Garden.
- Very late lunch of Gyros at a little Greek place on Lincoln Way then caught the 71 through the Haight Ashbury district back to downtown SFO.
- Jumped on the Powel St Cable Car and took a ride to the other side of SFO around Ghirardelli Square passing Lombard St (the Crookedest St) on the way.
- Cable cars have a great sign on the side “Room for two standees onlyâ€.
- Returned on the Cable Car and went to dinner at David’s Jewish Deli, 474 Geary. Great place if you like traditional Jewish Deli food.
